LivLite GLP-1 Program

LivLite GLP-1 Program Benefit

LivLite is the GLP-1 benefit program designed specifically for Memorial Healthcare System benefits members using GLP-1 medications for weight loss. This program does not impact members who are prescribed GLP-1 medications for diabetes. If you are not using GLP-1 medication for weight loss, LivLite does not apply to you.

As part of LivLite, participation in Noom is required to maintain coverage. Noom provides everyday habit support, progress tracking, and personalized coaching to help you get the most benefit from your treatment and feel confident in your health journey.

How Noom and LivLite Work Together

Noom supports the lifestyle portion of your GLP-1 plan, while LivLite provides medication coverage and copay savings for eligible weight-loss prescriptions.

Getting Started

If you’re using GLP-1 medication for weight loss, you will be automatically enrolled in the LivLite program and Noom enrollment is required.

  1. Sign up for Noom
  1. Connect your Noom plan with your treatment goals
  • Your coaching, tracking, and habit tools will be customized to support your GLP-1 plan and overall health.

To help you navigate your LivLite coverage, we’ve answered the most frequently asked questions below:

  1. Do I have to enroll in the new benefit plan?

All qualifying members currently prescribed weight loss medications will automatically be enrolled in LivLite.

Enrollment in Noom is required for coverage of weight loss medications. Information regarding Noom enrollment can be found at: go.noom.com/enrollmhs.

  1. Will current coverage of Mounjaro or Ozempic be affected?

No, GLP-1s for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (Mounjaro, Ozempic, Trulicity, Rybelsus, Victoza/liraglutide) will remain covered under your Liviniti pharmacy benefit.

  1. What medications are covered under this new benefit plan?

LivLite provides coverage of all weight loss medications such as:

  • Wegovy
  • Zepbound
  • Liraglutide (generic Saxenda)
  • Contrave
  • Phentermine-topiramate ER (generic for Qsymia)
  • Phentermine
  • Orlistat
  • Diethylpropion
  • Benzphetamine
  • Phendimetrazine

  1. Will prior authorization be required?

Yes, prior authorization will be required.

If you currently take a weight loss drug and have an active prior authorization on file, your prior authorization will be honored through March 31, 2026. A new prior authorization and enrollment in Noom will be required for continuation of therapy

after March 31, 2026.

  1. How long will a prior authorization approval be good for?

Approved prior authorizations will be effective for 6 months.

  1. What are the Noom participation requirements needed to continue utilizing my medication?

You must enroll in the Noom program and earn 4 Noom coins per month. At the 6-month PA renewal, you must have earned a total of 24 Noom coins to avoid disruption in therapy.

  1. What is a Noom coin?

One LivLite qualifying Noom coin can be earned per day by doing three (3) things: 1) logging all your meals 2) logging your weight and 3) reading the daily content (3-5 minutes).

More information for Noom can be found at: go.noom.com/enrollmhs

  1. What happens if I am unable to earn 4 Noom coins per month at PA renewal?

Failure to earn 4 Noom coins per month will result in a PA denial and your weight loss

medication coverage will be unavailable.

Consistent engagement in Noom is ideal and will provide the most benefit in your weight loss journey, but unforeseen circumstances may occur and prevent you from earning 4 Noom coins per month. If a total of 24 Noom coins are earned over the last 6 months, the Noom requirement will be satisfied.

Tips for Success: Once enrolled in Noom, designate one day of the week where you will

participate in Noom and earn a Noom coin. This will ensure you meet the Noom requirements to receive a PA approval at renewal.

  1. I was unable to satisfy the Noom requirement and my PA was denied. What do I need to do to continue coverage of my weight loss medication?

You can resubmit another PA after you earn a total of 24 Noom coins.

Example: At PA Renewal, you only had earned 20 Noom coins. PA will be denied but you can earn the additional 4 Noom coins over the next 4 days to satisfy the requirement and resubmit the PA.

  1. Where do I fill my medication?

Your medication can be filled at any of Memorial’s Pharmacies.

  1. Is there a limit on the day supply of the medication?

Yes, your medication will be limited to a 30-day supply to better support potential dosage changes in the future.

  1. What is the cost of my medication?

The cost of medication will vary depending on the drug, but a copay savings program and a $300 monthly subsidy paid for by Memorial will be used to lower your out-of-pocket costs. Your FSA can also be utilized for purchasing.

On average, a one-month supply of Zepbound or Wegovy may cost members anywhere from $350 to $450 after the monthly subsidy and copay savings programs. If your cost exceeds this amount, please confirm the copay savings program was applied with your dispensing pharmacy.

  1. What is the copay savings program and how do I enroll?

Copay savings programs are available to lower your out-of-pocket costs. Memorial Healthcare Pharmacies will be able to assist with your enrollment. Please refer to the LivLite for Less document for more information or to assist your preferred MHS Pharmacy.
