Parking and Hospital Entrance
Delivering moms should use the outpatient entrance from 5:30 am - 5 pm | Main hospital entrance 7:00 am - 7 pm (please use the Emergency Department entrance outside of those hours). Valet services have been suspended at all hospitals.
Visitor Policy
One guest (the spouse or significant other) will be allowed to visit the Family Birthplace. Unfortunately, no doulas or other birth support partners are allowed at this time.
Online Education
Baby Classes Now Online
In order to keep you safe, our baby classes are now taught online by Memorial Family Birthplace educators. A limited number of classes are currently available, and most will be added to Eventbrite in the future. We hope you can join us.

Birthplace Amenities
At Memorial Regional Hospital, each patient room in the Dr. Henry D. Perry Jr. Family Birthplace is designed to provide mom with well-deserved privacy and optimal rest. Family and visitors may relax in a spacious, separated entry area furnished with a sleeper sofa, dinette set and an additional telephone and TV. Fathers may get away to a private shower area and lounge down the hall. In addition, the courtesy kitchen is open with fresh coffee and beverages around-the-clock.
The Perry Family Birthplace includes:
- 14 private labor/delivery/recovery (LDR) suites
- 39 private post-delivery mother-baby suites with the ability to expand to 53 beds
Each private suite includes:
- Flat-screen TV with DVD player
- Wireless Internet
- In-closet safe
- Dinette set
- Sofa bed for your designated support person
- Private bath

Safe Sleep
Memorial Regional Hospital has been awarded the Cribs for Kids National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Program’s highest designation, Gold Safe Sleep Champion, for its commitment to best practices and education on infant safe sleep. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The Wasie Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is a level II and level III NICU with advanced technical equipment and a highly trained staff. Our NICU is one of only 11 regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers in Florida. There is 24-hour in-house coverage by neonatology. Parents are encouraged to visit and care for their NICU baby as much as medically possible.
Neonatal Bereavement Support Group
If you've experienced the loss of a pregnancy or an infant, we have resources available to support you as you heal and cope with grief. Please join our bereavement support group for parents who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Memorial Hospital Pembroke. Maternal Addiction
If you're pregnant and addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, our Mothers in Recovery (MIR) program may be able to help. Our maternal addiction program is designed to help mother and baby safely withdraw from substances and support mom in meeting her recovery goals.
