Construction of our new Surgical and Patient Bed Tower is underway at Memorial Regional Hospital. While Memorial Regional remains fully open and operational, temporary changes to traffic patterns, entrances and pedestrian routes may affect how you arrive for your appointment.
Patients and visitors with limited mobility are encouraged to use valet parking to avoid longer walking distances and temporary pedestrian routes during construction. Valet parking is available at no cost to all patients and visitors.

Entrance: Use the Medical Office Building entrance for direct access to the building.

If your appointment uses the entrance on Hospital Drive, please use the complimentary valet service at the Medical Office Building, then cross Hospital Drive to the Memorial Cancer Institute entrance.
If your appointment is at the Memorial Breast Cancer Center, please use the valet parking available at the center. Valet parking is available at no cost to patients and visitors.
If you choose to park in the garage, complimentary shuttle service is available from the visitor parking areas.
Planning to deliver at Memorial Regional Hospital? Please review the arrival information below before coming to the hospital.
Planned cesarean sections or inductions: Patients arriving for a scheduled cesarean section or induction should enter through the new Main Hospital entrance.
Emergency or unplanned deliveries: Patients arriving for an emergency or other unplanned delivery should enter through the Emergency Department (ER) entrance.
Confirm with your care team: Expectant parents and families should confirm arrival instructions with their care team ahead of time, as individual circumstances may vary.
Main Hospital entrance and valet parking: Please note that vehicles cannot pull directly up to the Main Hospital entrance. Valet parking is available at no cost, but there is a short walk from the valet drop-off area to the hospital entrance. If you are bringing luggage, a car seat or other items, please plan accordingly. The new main entrance will be open 24/7.
Please allow extra time for traffic, parking and navigating the campus during construction. Follow posted signs and directions to help you reach the appropriate entrance.
Existing patient and visitor parking will remain available throughout construction. However, temporary traffic patterns and pedestrian routes may change as construction progresses. Please follow onsite signage and allow additional time to reach your destination.

If you are visiting Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, we encourage you to use valet parking for the easiest access to the hospital. This service is available at no cost to patients and visitors.
If you choose to park in the visitor parking garage across from Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, complimentary shuttle service is available to bring you to the hospital entrance.

Pedestrian Access
Construction activity means some pedestrian routes around campus may be temporarily limited or redirected. Follow all posted signage. Use designated pedestrian walkways. Do not enter construction areas. Allow additional time to walk from parking to your destination.

Frequently Asked Questions
Discharged patients can be picked up at the Memorial Cancer Institute entrance on the open portion of Hospital Drive. This location is for pick-up only and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Your recommended entrance depends on the location of your appointment.
Diagnostic Imaging and hospital-based services should follow signs for the Main Hospital entrance (open 24/7).
Neuroscience Institute and other outpatient physician appointments should follow signs for the Medical Office Building entrance.
Memorial Cancer Institute patients should follow signs for the Memorial Cancer Institute entrance.
