Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health Services

Teen-focused outpatient care that restores wellbeing and strengthens families.

Evidence-based outpatient treatment for teens facing mental health or substance use concerns, with family-centered support, culturally responsive care, and tools for long-term resilience.

Adolescence brings rapid change, and mental health or substance use concerns often show up differently in teens than in adults. Our outpatient program offers evidence-based therapy, medication management, and skills training specifically designed for teens, delivered by a multidisciplinary team experienced in adolescent development and culturally responsive care.

We screen carefully to distinguish typical teen behavior from warning signs that need attention, and we partner with families, schools, and community supports to create clear, practical treatment plans that keep teens safe, strengthen coping skills, and support long-term recovery.

You are not alone. Call now to start personalized care.

Our care for teens includes several different options, including:

CLEAR Program

The CLEAR Program is designed specifically for adolescents who are struggling with substance use or experimentation. We provide compassionate, developmentally appropriate care that addresses the unique emotional, social, and behavioral challenges teens face.

The program combines evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a supportive, structured environment to help youth achieve and maintain recovery. Services include:

  • Individual Counseling: One-on-one sessions focused on understanding the root causes of substance use and developing healthy coping strategies.
  • Group Therapy: Peer-based support groups that foster connection, accountability, and shared learning.
  • Family Involvement : Engaging caregivers in the treatment process to support healing and communication at home.
  • Random Drug Screening: Used to monitor progress and support accountability in a respectful, non-punitive way.

Our goal is to help young people build resilience, develop healthy decision-making skills, and move forward with confidence in their recovery journey.

Multi-Family Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group

Our Multi-Family Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group is a structured, skills-based program that brings together adolescents (ages 14–17) and their caregivers to learn and practice the core principles of DBT. This group is designed to enhance emotional regulation, improve communication, and strengthen relationships with in the family system.

Participants are taught practical skills across four key DBT modules:

  • Mindfulness: Building awareness and presence in the moment.
  • Distress Tolerance: Managing crises and accepting reality.
  • Emotion Regulation: Understanding and managing intense emotions.
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Improving communication and relationship skills.

By involving both adolescents and their caregivers, the group promotes shared understanding and consistent skill use at home, increasing the likelihood of lasting change. This collaborative format fosters a supportive environment where families can grow together, gain new perspectives, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting.
