Kashmira Bhadha, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist. She earned her medical degrees of MBBS in 1981 and MD in 1985 from the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), and completed internship/residencies at Nair Hospital and TN Medical College in Mumbai from 1981 to 1984. She served as a Senior Resident in internal medicine from 1984 to 1986. Subsequently, she was a Lecturer (equivalent to assistant professor) in internal medicine there from 1986 to 1987.
In the United States, Dr. Bhadha was a research fellow in rheumatology and immunology at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia in 1988. She completed her first- and second-year residencies in internal medicine at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore (affiliated with Johns Hopkins University) in 1990, and completed her third-year residency and her fellowship in cardiology at Presbyterian Medical Center (affiliated with University of Pennsylvania), in Philadelphia in 1994
Dr. Bhadha has several publications and has given presentations on heart disease in women and heart disease in persons of Asian-Indian origin.
