About Me
I am a cardiologist at Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute, where I care for patients with a range of heart and vascular problems, including cardiac chest pain, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, heart failure, cholesterol disorders, cardiometabolic disease related to obesity, diabetes and other conditions.
Cardiovascular disease affects millions of people and their families across the country, including my own. Its widespread impact is what drew me to this field and continues to fuel my dedication to improving heart health. I am committed to helping patients prevent, manage and recover from cardiovascular conditions so they can lead longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
I take a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on each person’s unique symptoms, concerns and health goals. My care often includes counseling on lifestyle changes, selecting the right medications and providing ongoing follow-up to prevent or treat cardiovascular disease. The most rewarding part of my work is seeing patients regain energy, confidence and the ability to fully enjoy their lives.
I am a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a diplomate in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography with the National Board of Echocardiography and hold board certifications in Nuclear Cardiology, Adult Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. I am also pursuing a master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins University to further expand my ability to improve heart health at both the individual and population levels.
