About Me

I am a cardiologist at Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute, where I provide ongoing care for patients living with chronic heart conditions, including high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and valvular heart disease.

I am board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, CT and MRI. With advanced expertise in cardiac imaging, I am able to integrate multiple imaging modalities and collaborate closely with other specialties to guide each patient’s care.

Although I have always been passionate about medicine and expanding access to care for underrepresented populations, I was especially drawn to cardiology during my training. I had the privilege of learning from exceptional mentors, who shaped both my clinical interests and the way I care for patients.

In practice, I take a pragmatic patient-centered approach to providing care. I focus on clear, practical explanations and thoughtful decision-making, helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options so you can feel informed and confident. I also believe every patient and family should feel heard and included, and I make it a priority to consider their questions, concerns and goals as we plan care together.

In addition to caring for patients, I am involved in clinical research aimed at advancing the treatment of heart disease. My recent research interests include using cardiac MRI with AI to identify inflammation and scar tissue.
