About Me

As a South Florida native, I am proud to serve the community as a vascular surgeon at Memorial Healthcare System. I treat patients with peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, carotid artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, and other vascular conditions. I am passionate about obtaining the best possible outcomes through both traditional open vascular surgery and advanced endovascular techniques.

I discovered my passion for medicine after a skating injury sidelined me while I was training to earn a coveted spot in the X Games. That experience led me to complete my undergraduate studies at the University of Miami and earn my medical degree from Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia. I went on to complete a surgical internship at Temple University Hospital and then crossed the Delaware River for my general surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital. During my chief resident year, I served as a clinical instructor of surgery and participated in a research program at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey.

I was drawn to vascular surgery for its unique role in collaborating across specialties within the healthcare system. I went on to complete an independent vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where I was later recruited to join the faculty as an assistant professor of surgery in the School of Medicine. I also worked at the University of Florida in Jacksonville before returning to South Florida.

In addition to patient care, I’ve authored articles in leading medical journals, including the "Journal of Vascular Surgery" and "Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery". I have also presented research at regional and national events as a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Florida Vascular Society and other professional organizations. I am board certified in surgery and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

In my free time, I love to skate, surf and spend time with my family and our bulldog.
