About Me

I’m a primary care physician and sports medicine specialist at Memorial Primary Care. One of the things I love most about primary care is the ability to treat the whole person, not just a single condition. I care for patients with common concerns like high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, heartburn, allergies, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders and anemia. I also have a special interest in musculoskeletal health, particularly osteoarthritis and tendonitis, and offer cortisone injections to help relieve pain. For patients with neck or lower back pain, I provide osteopathic treatments using soft tissue therapy to improve mobility and comfort.

My passion for primary care began during medical school, when I worked at an underserved clinic. There, I saw firsthand how many chronic conditions could have been prevented with better access to care. Patients who had never had a primary care doctor struggled with avoidable complications simply because they lacked guidance and treatment early on. Witnessing the difference that education and access made in their lives confirmed that primary care was the right path for me.

My interest in sports medicine started much earlier in high school when I experienced an injury myself. I remember how frustrating it was when even simple tasks, like walking or putting on a shirt, felt impossible. The care I received helped me return to doing what I loved, and that experience stayed with me. Now, I take that same approach with my patients, helping them heal so they can return to the activities that bring them joy.

Building strong relationships with my patients is at the heart of my practice. I love learning about their lives, careers and aspirations. Every day in my office brings something new, and I appreciate my patients' trust in me.

Most importantly, I want my patients to feel comfortable sharing whatever is on their minds, without fear of judgment. I want them to ask questions if something doesn’t make sense about their diagnosis or treatment plan. Too often, I’ve seen patients spend days in the hospital only to leave without a clear understanding of their condition. That’s not how healthcare should be. My goal is to make sure every patient walks away with clarity, confidence and a plan that makes sense for them.
