As a family physician at Memorial Primary Care, I care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and thyroid disease. I also treat acute illnesses like the common cold, flu and ear infections.

My passion for medicine began early, inspired by my parents — one of whom works in healthcare — and by my own childhood family doctor, whose calm presence, sharp memory for each patient’s story and ability to connect personally left a lasting impression. I chose family medicine because it allows me to care for people through all stages of life, integrating their medical needs with the context of their goals, values and everyday realities.

What I value most about my work is building lasting relationships with patients and their families, learning the details of their lives that help me provide more personalized care. I strive to approach every patient as I would a family member, taking time to understand who they are beyond their medical history.

During a first visit, I make it a point to find common ground and ensure patients feel comfortable and understood. This approach fosters trust and allows for truly individualized treatment plans. My goal is for every patient to leave knowing they’ve received not only medical expertise but genuine concern. And if you happen to see me in scrubs, there’s a good chance I’ll be wearing my favorite cowboy boots.
