Medical Director, Division of Breast Surgical Oncology

Heather Wright, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in breast cancer surgery. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1999, and completed her residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in 2004. She completed her fellowship in breast oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2005.

From 2009 to 2014, Dr. Wright served as director of the Comprehensive Breast Care Center at the Markey Cancer Center/University of Kentucky.
