About Me

Dr. Samuel Ostrower is board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated cum laude. Subsequently, he received his MD from Texas Tech University School of Medicine where he earned membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Ostrower completed his otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He was chosen to be Chief Resident in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery for the Albert Einstein residency program, and was subsequently awarded with the resident teaching award in his final year of residency. He then completed a one-year fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s Hospital Boston-Harvard Medical School. Following a clinical appointment at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, he moved to South Florida to develop a comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology program at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where he now serves as the Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Ostrower’s clinical interests include particular expertise in minimally invasive pediatric airway surgery, cochlear implantation, and novel techniques in tonsillectomy.
