About Me

I am a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonologist at Memorial Division of Pulmonology, where I treat severe asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and a range of other lung and airway conditions.

Coming from a family of physicians, I was exposed to medicine early in life. For as long as I can remember, becoming a physician felt like a calling, a path I knew I was meant to follow. Pulmonary medicine is a complex and deeply rewarding specialty. Treating lung conditions gives me the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with my patients while making a tangible difference in their health and quality of life.

My approach to care is centered on the patient as a whole person, not just their diagnosis. I believe in helping patients understand their pulmonary conditions so they can take an active role in their own health. Through shared decision-making and patient education, my goal is to empower my patients to be confident and informed partners in their care.

I recognize that behind every diagnosis is a person navigating a difficult and often uncertain experience. That's why I strive to bring compassion and empathy to every interaction.

Areas of Focus

  • Asthma care: Uses personalized, targeted therapies and medications to manage complex or severe asthma and reduce airway inflammation
  • Lung conditions: Diagnoses and cares for COPD, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, tuberculosis and a range of other lung conditions and diseases
  • Chronic cough: Identifies and treats underlying causes of persistent coughing
  • Diagnostic testing: Performs minimally invasive tests such as robotic bronchoscopy, as well as point-of-care lung ultrasound, chest X-rays and breathing tests to evaluate lung health and diagnose lung and airway conditions
