Aaron Willis, DO, is double board-certified in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine. He cares for children and adolescents with sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, narcolepsy, and parasomnias such as sleepwalking, sleep talking, sleep terrors and confusional arousals. He also manages patients with complex breathing issues including tracheostomy and ventilator dependence, chronic cough, severe asthma, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis.
Dr. Willis completed residency training in pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Hospital and pediatric
subspecialty training in pulmonology and sleep medicine at Baylor/Texas Children’s Hospital,
the largest children’s hospital in the nation. There, he gained experience in treating a wide
range of medical pathologies, from common issues to unique and complex cases.
When caring for patients, Dr. Willis makes the best of challenging situations. He empowers
his patients by taking away the mystery of medicine and clarifying complex medical topics.
He wants patients to be able to speak the same medical language and be an active participant
in their care.
