Fernando Vargas Madueno, MD
I am an oncologist and hematologist at Moffitt Cancer Center and Memorial Healthcare System.
As a member of the Department of Malignant Hematology and Cellular Therapy at Memorial, I treat patients with hematologic malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
Before joining Memorial, I was a medical director at Pfizer.
I earned my medical degree from Universidad San Martin de Porres in Lima Peru. I then completed a residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami.

I am involved in innovative clinical trials focused on improving the outcomes for patients with acute myeloid and lymphoid leukemia. My research also explores cellular therapies and their use in the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies.
