Christopher R. DeMassi, MD, FACS, FAANS is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he earned both a master of science degree in physiology and biophysics, as well as his medical degree. He completed his internship in general surgery, a residency in neurological surgery, and a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. DeMassi also has expertise and strong interest in epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS) for the surgical treatment of movement disorders, and in the diagnosis and surgical management of brain tumors.
