Outpatient Pharmacy

When you come to one of Memorial’s outpatient pharmacy locations, you’ll find all the health supplies and services you and your family need. We’re a one-stop shop for healthcare you can count on. 

Our outpatient pharmacies are staffed by highly skilled pharmacists who can assist with all your medication needs. Think of us as your neighborhood pharmacy — made better with pharmacists who know and understand your medical history.

Home Delivery

Free Delivery

All our outpatient retail pharmacies provide free delivery of your prescription medications. You can request this service via MyChart or call your nearest pharmacy to set up delivery.
Asthma meds

Wide Range of Health Supplies

Our retail pharmacies do more than dispense medication. You’ll also find durable medical equipment (DME), everyday first aid items, personal hygiene supplies and cosmetics. Examples of DME items include:

  • Medical and surgical supplies, such as walkers, canes, bed trays, bed pans, nebulizers, diabetic supplies and ostomy supplies
  • Orthopedic braces and supports
  • Medical compression hosiery
  • Breast pump rentals and supplies

On-site Vaccines

Our pharmacists can administer all types of vaccinations, including those for flu, Covid, shingles, pneumonia and more.

The Memorial Rx Savings Club [PDF] helps make the prescriptions you and your family need more affordable. There’s no fee to join and your membership never expires. 

How to Fill Prescriptions

We can have your new or refill prescriptions ready for you quickly so you can start healing sooner.

New Prescriptions

Your doctor can: 

  • Electronically send us a prescription. Simply provide the Memorial pharmacy name and address to your doctor’s office.
  • Call or fax a copy of your prescription to the Memorial pharmacy location you request.
Existing prescriptions refill
  • Send us a request via MyChart (online or use the MyChart app).
  • Call the Memorial pharmacy you use.
Transfer a prescription

If you have a prescription at a pharmacy outside the Memorial network:

  • Send us a request via MyChart (online or use the app) and select the following prompts: Your Menu/Transfer My Prescriptions.
  • Call the Memorial outpatient pharmacy nearest you, request that we contact your local pharmacy and we’ll take care of the transfer.
  • Call us and request that we contact your doctor to obtain a new prescription.

Medication Take-Back

We offer a convenient take-back program at the following locations for expired medications or prescriptions you no longer need. This allows you to safely and easily dispose of unwanted drugs.

FAQs

How can I take advantage of this program?

Your clinical team will let you know if you’re eligible for the Meds-to-Beds program. Participation is optional, but many patients find the service beneficial and choose to continue using it for its convenience and quality.

What if I don’t have my insurance information with me?

The pharmacist can access your prescription coverage details through the pharmacy database.

How do I pay for the medications before I leave?

You’ll be responsible for your co-pay, just as you would at any retail pharmacy. We accept cash, credit, and debit cards.

What if I can’t afford my medications?

Our pharmacy medication access and case management teams will work with you to find resources that can help cover the cost of your medications.

How can I continue getting my refills?

We can manage your refills for you. Prescriptions can be picked up at one of our locations or delivered to your home through our home delivery program. You can also view your medication history and request refills through MyChart. If you prefer, we can transfer your prescription to your preferred pharmacy.
