954-276-8388Memorial Home Infusion (MHI) is a comprehensive pharmacy service that provides infusion therapy to Memorial’s adult and pediatric patients. Infusion services are also available to patients from other local hospital systems and physician offices within the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. We provide a wide variety of injectable drug therapies for the treatment of acute or chronic medical conditions. Education and training on safe administration practice are provided to our patients/caregivers in the comfort of their homes by an infusion-trained registered nurse.
Home infusion therapy is a safe and effective alternative to inpatient care for many medical conditions and therapy types. It involves the administration of medication through a needle or catheter in a vein, which is administered in a home setting.
In addition to the medication, patients receive all the necessary supplies needed to perform the infusion therapy, including pumps, tubing, and catheters.
A dedicated team of professionals will monitor your therapy throughout your time with us.
If you have a clinical emergency at any time, we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you.
We offer a wide range of home infusion therapies including:
- Antibiotics
- Antiemetic (drugs used to prevent vomiting and nausea)
- Antifungals
- Antivirals
- Chemotherapy
- Hydration
- Inotrope
- Maintenance of Vascular Access
- Pain management
- Specialty infusions
- Total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
