About Me
I am a urologist at Memorial Healthcare System with advanced training in minimally invasive surgery and endourology. I treat patients with a wide range of conditions, including benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH); kidney stones; prostate, bladder and testicular cancers; ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction; erectile dysfunction; and urinary incontinence. For every patient, I work to match the most effective and advanced treatments to their specific needs, combining innovation with a personalized approach to care.
From an early age, I dreamed of becoming a surgeon. I was drawn to urology because of the unique opportunity to help people in different ways, sometimes with advanced surgical technology and other times through ongoing medical care. The field is constantly evolving, which challenges me to continue learning and refining the treatment options available to our patients.
What I value most about my work is the personal connection I form with patients and their families. I take time to understand their concerns, explain their condition and walk them through all available options. I often review imaging with them in the exam room so they can see and better understand their diagnosis. Many patients tell me that this collaborative approach, along with the feeling of being fully informed and cared for, is what they remember most about their experience, beyond the outcome of their surgery.
Before joining Memorial, I practiced in a community-based private group in the greater Chicago area. I am excited to be part of a larger health system now, collaborating with a team of highly skilled urologists to expand access to advanced care and make a lasting impact in the South Florida community.
