About Me
Dr. Gary Schwartz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in hand surgery. He graduated with a degree in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, after which he earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York in 1980. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. He complete his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery and microsurgery at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Schwartz serves as clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Orthopedics, at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as clinical assistant professor in orthopedic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
