About Me

I am an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients with a wide variety of disorders in the head and neck, which range from routine outpatient problems to life-threatening airway emergencies and severe infections. This includes: hearing loss, vertigo and ear infections in the auditory system; nasal issues such as sinusitis, obstructed breathing and trauma; and swallowing and voice disorders.

I am a second-generation ENT and head and neck surgeon. I grew up watching complicated surgeries from as early as 8 years old. It sparked my fascination with the anatomy and function of the head and neck structures. All organisms rely on their senses and the delicate function of these structures in order to smell, taste, breathe, hear sounds and speak.

It's rewarding to be able to provide life-saving procedures when they are needed, and also play a critical role in helping to improve someone's quality of life. I'm also able to help pediatric and adult patients with medical therapies and rehabilitation, which is extremely enjoyable.

In my practice, my staff and I prioritize patient convenience and open communication. I pride myself on being easily reachable and we have an amazing support staff that is available 24/7. Our goal is to get to know you, your concerns and goals, and work together to help you begin to heal or improve your daily life.

When patients and family members return to see me, and report that they feel better, are able to work, can interact with loved ones and participate in the day-to-day activities that make them happy, I feel like I have done my job. Those are the moments I cherish.

In addition to providing patient care, I also lecture frequently at national meetings and local hospitals to physicians in my fields. Medicine does not exist in a bubble and I believe it's vital that doctors share ideas across specialties to maximize patient safety and positive outcomes.
