About Me
As a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, I specialize in treating fractures and trauma, limb deformities and sports-related injuries in children. With subspecialty training in both pediatric orthopedics and orthopedic trauma, I’m able to care for a wide range of conditions from routine fractures to complex reconstructions. I especially enjoy helping children with long-bone fractures and limb deformities regain normal function and mobility.
During training, I was drawn to pediatrics for the opportunity to positively influence health outcomes for children early in life and provide care with a lasting impact. Pediatric orthopedics offered the ideal balance of technical surgical challenge and the privilege of guiding families through some of their most vulnerable moments.
The most rewarding part of my job is helping children return to the activities that bring them joy, whether it’s playing sports, keeping up in school or spending time with friends. I also deeply value working with children whose physical challenges may limit their ability to do certain things like their peers. With the right care, we can maximize their function and independence. Watching their progress inspires me every day.
I practice evidence-based medicine and recognize that complex conditions often require more than one solution. When faced with challenging cases, I actively seek the insight of colleagues and mentors to ensure patients receive the best care possible. My approach is grounded in compassion, clarity and a commitment to making sure families feel supported and fully informed.
In addition to my clinical work, I have also contributed to pediatric care in low-resource settings, including service in Haiti and Providence, Rhode Island. I am also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of physicians and advancing the field through both education and innovation.

Research
My research currently focuses on fracture care and outcomes in children with an emphasis on advancing care in low-resource settings and for marginalized communities that face barriers to access. My goal is to use research to help close those gaps and ensure equitable care for all children.Presentations
