About Me

I am a high-risk obstetrician at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients with preterm labor, pregnancies complicated by hypertension such as preeclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestations, placental abnormalities and a wide range of maternal medical conditions. I have a particular interest in supporting patients who are navigating a high-risk pregnancy for the first time, helping them feel informed, supported and empowered every step of the way.

I was drawn to medicine by a deep desire to help others during moments that truly matter. I’ve always been fascinated by science and the human body, especially women’s health. Obstetrics felt like a natural calling because it blends science, continuity of care and the privilege of guiding families through life-changing experiences. I chose to specialize in high-risk obstetrics because it allows me to combine compassionate care with complex problem-solving, ensuring that patients with unique challenges receive the focused expertise they deserve.

Caring for families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives is incredibly rewarding. Supporting patients through a challenging pregnancy and helping them achieve the safest possible outcome is what motivates me every day.

Beyond patient care, I am deeply committed to medical education, mentorship and physician wellness. During residency, I served as a designated representative for the Graduate Medical Education department, helping shape the medical student curriculum. I also served as wellness chair, organizing initiatives to support well-being within the program. After medical school, I worked as a Junior Clinical Teaching Fellow in a simulation center, further strengthening my dedication to training and supporting future physicians.

Outside of work, I prioritize staying active and spending time outdoors. I previously completed a 150-mile cycling event to raise funds for multiple sclerosis research—an experience that continues to inspire my commitment to wellness and advocacy.
