About Me

Dr. Neal McNerney is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas. His residency included six months of training at the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Spokane, Washington. After serving for two years as an orthopaedic surgeon with the United States Army, he completed a year of fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children's Hospital in San Diego, California. He then returned to Texas where he was the Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at Texas Tech University.

Dr. McNerney is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society.

Dr. McNerney has practiced in South Florida since 2000. His areas of special interest include limb lengthening and deformity correction, cerebral palsy, clubfeet, hip dysplasia and other congenital and developmental abnormalities.
