I am a general surgeon at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients with a variety of problems including gallbladder diseases, hernias of the abdominal wall and groin, appendix diseases and removal of cysts and masses. I also have expertise and experience with minimally invasive surgical options and offer them for patients when possible.

I honor and respect patients time and do everything I can to get your problem solved. During our time together, we’ll focus on the problem at hand, review the details of your case, and discuss what options are available for further work-up or treatment. I want all patients to know their options and understand the risks and benefits of each, then guide you in choosing the care option that best fits your needs.

In addition to caring for patients, I consider it a privilege to help educate medical students and surgeons in training. Before joining Memorial, I worked at St. Mary’s Medical Group in Athens, Georgia where I was an assistant professor of Clinical Surgery for the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership teaching general surgery to medical students. I also created and coordinated the Surgical Intern Boot Camp for the General Surgery Residency Program at the Jackson Health System/University of Miami during my years of surgical training.
