Administrative Fellowship
Memorial Healthcare System is one of the largest, public non-profit healthcare systems in the nation and is based in Hollywood, Florida. We are comprised of six acute care hospitals that span the South Broward County including a Level 1 Trauma Center, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, an acute rehabilitation hospital, and more. We also have a nursing home, primary care centers, physician practices, and urgent care centers. Memorial Healthcare System is a $2 billion+ organization with superb quality and patient satisfaction scores. We are strong members of the community and do everything we can to give back to those we serve.
The Memorial Healthcare System Administrative Fellowship offers an immersive, project-based, 12-month rotational experience. Fellows rotate through two key hospitals—Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital—spending approximately 16 to 18 weeks at each site. In addition, they gain exposure to other critical operational areas, including essential corporate support services. Throughout the fellowship, candidates engage in hands-on learning of hospital operations, leadership structures, and strategic initiatives across both adult and pediatric care settings, while also attending key executive leadership meetings.
Applicants must have earned a degree from a CAHME, AACSB, or CEPH accredited MHA, MHSA, MPH, or MBA program. Candidates who will receive their master’s degree upon completion of the fellowship are also eligible to apply.

The Nina Beauchesne, FACHE
Administrative Fellows Endowment
Nina Beauchesne, FACHE served as the Memorial’s first Administrative Fellow in 1989. Her incredibly successful 34-year career at Memorial Healthcare System includes a variety of top leadership positions, from serving as the first CEO of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to her role as Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer.
In honor of her outstanding contributions, the Nina Beauchesne Administrative Fellows (Scholarship) Endowment was established as a permanent, named fund in support of Memorial Healthcare System’s Administrative Fellows Program. In addition to using the funds produced by this endowment in meaningful support of this program, it is our intention to have Nina continue her involvement in our Administrative Fellows program as a mentor to these future leaders, just as she has done throughout her illustrious career at Memorial Healthcare System.
