Objectives

After this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss advancements in the field of cardiovascular medicine and how they are incorporated into practice.
  2. Assess challenges in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
  3. Identify new insights in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease.
  4. Summarize contemporary approaches to evaluate and treat patients with heart failure and arrhythmias.
  5. Examine the current challenges managing patients with valvular disease and peripheral arterial disease.
