About Me

I am an electrophysiologist at Memorial Healthcare System. I completed my residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I then completed my cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I am currently a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.

My expertise spans the full range of electrophysiology solutions including implantable cardiac devices such as traditional and leadless pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac monitors. I am also skilled in performing cardiac ablations including those for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia.

I was inspired to become a doctor to help solve health problems I observed in people around me. I decided to specialize in electrophysiology because we can very often get to the core of complex problems and get the patient a “cure.” From my perspective, medicine essentially boils down to two things: helping patients live longer and helping patients enjoy their lives more fully. I love that I get to do both every day as part of my daily clinical work.

When working with patients, I strive for a collaborative relationship. My role is to help patients and their families understand their medical conditions, comprehensively assess available treatment options and partner with them in implementing the options that best fit their needs.

I love working at Memorial because we continuously push the boundaries on solutions we can deliver to our patients while also focusing on patient safety and quality of care.
