Dr. Essie K. Yates is a plastic surgeon who focuses mostly on adult cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, breast and body. Dr. Yates trained in the U.K. and United States. While undergoing her surgical training, she learned techniques for perforator microsurgical breast reconstruction, also specializing in other functional and aesthetic breast procedures such as breast mastopexy (breast lift), breast augmentation, breast reduction and complex revision procedures.

Dr. Yates participates in mentorship and education of students and residents from the Cleveland Clinic Florida Department of Plastic Surgery, Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (Craniofacial Medicine) and Barry University. She was selected as the only 2016 Resident Ambassador for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal Winter Retreat (U.S.), and was recently selected as a committee member for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
