About Me

I am a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist at Memorial Healthcare System specializing in helping patients and obstetricians navigate pregnancy concerns. Some of the most common pregnancy conditions we treat to optimize outcomes include those involving cervical insufficiency, hypertension, diabetes and fetal growth restriction. Additionally, we help with genetic screening, counseling and all forms of genetic testing.

From a young age, I was inspired to become a doctor out of pure love for the sciences and their practical implications. Specifically, I chose the field of women's medicine, and more narrowly, perinatology (maternal-fetal medicine), for the differences we can make for women during this special time in their lives. Ultrasound has revolutionized how we provide obstetric care, and through its application, I love screening, diagnosing and treating pregnant women and their fetuses.

My approach to providing care is one of compassion without judgment or prejudice. Everyone can expect me to treat them as if I were treating my own family. I believe strongly in evidence-based medicine as a way to provide the most optimal, up-to-date and consistent care to all my patients.

At the end of the day, we are here to help expecting mothers and their growing families. Helping to navigate the sometimes anxious nine months of pregnancy and guiding patients through it is a truly rewarding experience.
