Dr. Diana Martinez is board-certified in pediatrics and neurology with special qualifications in child neurology. Before joining Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, she was in private practice in Weston, FL. She earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Este, School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency at Shands University Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL and her adult and pediatric neurology fellowships at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. During her career, Dr. Martinez has taught residents and medical students in pediatrics, adult and pediatric neurology, and has lectured on pediatric neurology topics. Her special interests include headaches in pediatric patients, neurogenetics and developmental disorders.
