Elkin Bejarano, MD
As an experienced family physician, my primary focus is to provide continuous and comprehensive healthcare with an emphasis on prevention and health promotion. The most common conditions I treat are hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, respiratory problems, hypothyroidism and osteoarthritis.
The idea of pursuing a career in medicine is one of my earliest and most cherished memories. I always had the desire to be an active member of society and make a difference by relieving pain and comforting people.
The time I spend with my patients is precious to me. Listening to their stories, getting to know them and creating a rapport with them is priceless. I never judge, and I do everything in my power to heal them and make their lives happier. Patients come to me with different experiences, and they always have inspirational stories of struggle, fight and survival.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the tennis court. I’m an avid tennis player. I also enjoy learning new languages, traveling and trying new restaurants.
