Jannice Beckford, MD

I am a family medicine physician at Memorial Healthcare System. While my training allows me to care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical concerns, my focus at Memorial Healthcare is providing preventive care to adults and working with patients who are living with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a doctor. Family health and primary care stood out as a great fit for me because I am a people person. I enjoy getting to know patients and caring for them through various stages of their lives. It’s a pleasure learning about their habits, routines and health wishes, so I can help them achieve their goals.

Primary care also offers the opportunity to educate others on disease prevention and management. Empowering people with condition-specific information and support allows them to make positive changes in their health and in their lifestyle decisions.
