I am a hematologist and oncologist at Memorial Cancer Institute where I specialize in caring for patients with blood disorders and cancer. As a medical oncologist, I treat patients with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and other treatments.

I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. It allows me to blend my passion for the sciences with a love for working with people. After completing my medical degree in India, I completed training in New York and continued to work there for many years as an assistant professor of medicine at New York Medical College and an attending physician at Metropolitan Hospital Center, New York.

The field of oncology and the treatment of cancer has come a long way and continues to evolve as we find new ways to treat, cure, and control the disease.
