He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1967 and completed his internship at University of Miami- Jackson Memorial Medical Center in 1968.  Dr. Gordon completed his residencies at University of Miami – Jackson Memorial Medical Center in 1969 and Kings County Hospital Center in 1973.
