About Me
Dr. Johannes Blom is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Blom earned his medical degree from Boston University of Medicine in 1991. He completed his internship at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in 1992 and his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2001. Dr. Blom completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the University of Colorado.
Prior to starting private practice, Dr. Blom spent 16 years in the United States Army. During that time, he had been deployed more than 20 times to areas including Haiti, Central America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Dr. Blom has special interest in adult reconstructive surgery, fracture management and general orthopaedic surgery.
