Memorial Neuroscience Institute Expands Specialized Neurointerventional Care to Weston
Patients in western Broward County, including those living in Century Village, now have expanded access to advanced neurointerventional care as Memorial Neuroscience Institute announces the opening of a new neurointerventional clinic in Weston.
Located at Memorial Primary Care - Weston facility at 17180 Royal Palm Blvd., the new clinic brings evaluation for highly specialized, minimally invasive treatment options closer to patients facing complex vascular and neurological vascular conditions, including brain aneurysms and carotid stenosis and other cerebrovascular disorders.
The clinic will be led by Brijesh P. Mehta, MD, medical director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program and NeuroInterventional Surgery at Memorial Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Mehta specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of:
- Brain aneurysms
- Arteriovenous malformations
- Dural arteriovenous fistulas
- Carotid stenosis
- Intracranial stenosis
“Expanding neurointerventional services to western Broward allows us to bring advanced neurological and stroke-related care closer to the communities we serve,” said Mehta.
The Weston clinic is part of Memorial Neuroscience Institute’s ongoing efforts to expand access to advanced neurological care throughout South Florida.
Memorial Neuroscience Institute also provides neurointerventional services in Hollywood and Pembroke Pines.
