Our physicians and surgeons work together to treat many types of conditions, including:

Aortic aneurysm

As the only comprehensive aortic aneurysm center in South Florida, we handle a wide range of aortic aneurysms, including the most severe. We offer several aneurysm treatments and our care includes surgical repair and less-invasive endovascular procedures. Area providers often refer aneurysm patients to Memorial because of our great deal of experience with this condition.

Arrhythmia & Atrial Fibrillation

Arrhythmias, or abnormal heart rates, are a type of heart condition that can interfere with quality of life and may be life-threatening. We are on the forefront of heart arrhythmia treatments. In our high-volume electrophysiology program, we treat several hundred patients every year and offer the latest in ablation technology.

Cardiac-related high-risk pregnancy

Pregnancy may cause certain types of heart conditions in otherwise healthy women. Also, women with a history of congenital heart disease or other heart conditions prior to pregnancy may need specialized heart and vascular care. We help families navigate high-risk pregnancies. We’ll connect you with specialists and work closely with Memorial’s OB/GYNs to coordinate your treatments and care plan. Read about our approach to heart conditions in pregnancy.
