Randall Schwartz, MD
I am a pulmonologist at Memorial Healthcare System. I treat patients with asthma, COPD, reactive airways disease, lung cancer, bronchiectasis, nontuberculous mycobacterial disease, interstitial lung disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and pulmonary hypertension.
I volunteered in healthcare at an early age and was inspired by those who devoted their lives to helping others heal. I decided then to pursue a career in medicine. I was drawn to pulmonology because of its intriguing complexity, and focus on helping patients and their ability to do more.
My primary goal is bringing comfort and relief to those struggling to breathe. It is important to establish expectations for treatment of complex respiratory issues. No matter one’s lifestyle, comfort in breathing is one of the most important priorities we share.
