Roy Cardoso, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the hand and upper extremity. He earned his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine in 2003, and completed his surgical internship at Tulane University Medical Center in 2004. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UC Davis Medical Center in 2008. He completed his hand and upper-extremity fellowship at Wake Forest Medical Center in 2009.
Dr. Cardoso's clinical interests include surgery of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. He has a particular interest in complex shoulder and elbow reconstruction, as well as peripheral nerve injury, including the brachial plexus.
