Vascular Surgery
Rotation: SUR 405-1
Length: 2 or 4 weeks
Goals: Vascular patients will be seen in clinic and hospital setting. You will participate in clinic evaluation, daily rounds, surgeries, and post-operative visits.
Objectives: By the end of this elective you will perform histories and physical examinations on patients with vascular disease, understand the basic treatment algorithm for atherosclerotic and aneurysmal disease, and be familiar with the basic surgical procedures for treating vascular disease.
Additional Information and Description: You will be active members of the vascular surgery team. You will participate in all aspects of care including in the clinic setting, in the hospital, and in the OR.
