Infectious Disease Fellowship Educational Experience
The Infectious Disease Fellowship is designed to fulfill the ABIM Infectious Diseases Specialty training requirements. Our yearly program will have 13, 4-week block rotations.

Curriculum
Inpatient Rotations (Inpt)
The three inpatient consult services are held at MHW and MRH.
- Memorial Hospital West: General ID and infections associated with hematological malignancies.
- Memorial Hospital West: General ID and COVID-19.
- Memorial Regional Hospital: Infections associated with solid organ transplants and LVADs.
Ambulatory and HIV Care (Clinic)
All ambulatory care is held at the Memorial Physician Group Infectious Diseases Clinic.

Specific Training
These specific rotations are vital in obtaining a comprehensive training in this field and promoting growth in leadership. Research, academic, and QI/PI project opportunities as well as opportunities to participate in policy development stem from these rotations.
