Cardiovascular Symposium
Thank you for attending our 2019 symposium. See you in 2020!
May 3 & 4, 2019
Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center
3501 Johnson Street
Hollywood, FL 33021
Purpose Statement
Progress in cardiovascular medicine is moving at a fast pace. There are new drugs, new procedures and new imaging techniques that enable us to treat patients as never before.
Cardiology in the last 20 years has grown into a complex field encompassing multiple sub-specialties and branching into allied specialties such as Neurology, Endocrinology, Genetics and Oncology. As such, the specialty is both difficult to master and yet present in the daily practice of Cardiologists, Internists, Family Practitioners and allied specialists.
As the clinical leader in the South Florida area, Memorial Health System’s Cardiovascular Institute has the ability to share with practitioners on a regional level the advancements in the field that are an active part of our high volume clinical institution.
The Cardiovascular Symposium will provide a wide but intimate view of “State of Cardiology“ with emphasis in practical aspects of diagnosis and therapy. Attendees will receive actionable information which will lead to better practices and improvement in both the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease in our community.
