Giving Societies

Founder’s Society

Ongoing, significant gifts are the lifeblood of Memorial and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundations.  Donors whose lifetime contributions total $50,000 or more are members of the Founder’s Society and may take advantage of additional benefits and amenities for themselves and their families.  Their dedication and commitment to our mission are not only vital to our success, but also set the standard for philanthropic giving throughout the community.  We recognize and thank our Founders for their continued support.

Circle of Friends

Every successful mission is nurtured by a select group of individuals who lead with their hearts and follow-up with their generosity in support of the greater good.  The Circle of Friends is comprised of our friends and neighbors who give $1,000 or more annually to support the work of the Foundations.  We extend our deepest thanks to our Circle of Friends members for their commitment.

Physicians’ Circle

The mission of the Foundations and of physicians is closely aligned, as both strive to improve the healthcare of the community. The Physicians’ Circle represents doctors who have made a financial commitment of $1,000 or more annually to support the work of the Foundations. We offer our heartfelt thanks to our Physicians' Circle members for their contributions.

Dream Builders Society

Members of the Dream Builders Society recognize the importance of gifts that leave a legacy. Through thoughtful estate and financial planning, these donors have named one or both of the Foundations as a beneficiary to a trust or will, a retirement plan or life insurance policy, or have established a Charitable Gift Annuity, to ensure that the mission of Memorial Healthcare System continues into the future. We salute members of the Dream Builders Society for making the decision to provide for healthier tomorrows today. Pink Angels

The Pink Angels was started by a group of women, many of them breast cancer survivors, with the mission of offering women in our community the latest in education and awareness on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and ensuring that our resources are available to them. The Pink Angels support breast services programs from diagnosis to recovery. Memorial Foundation, through the Pink Angels Fund, provides financial assistance to cancer patients for items and services that would not otherwise be available to them. These items include wigs, prosthetics, nail and hair care, nutrition and integrative therapies. In addition, the annual Touch of Pink fundraising event is held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For more information about being involved please contact Babette Ferre-Kosar at 954-265-6438 or at bkosar@mhs.net.
