Consumer Reports’ Top-Five Highest Rated South Florida Hospitals Memorial Healthcare System Hospitals Exceed
National Averages for Patient Satisfaction

(Hollywood, FL.) — In a nationwide study recently released online by Consumer Reports, Memorial Healthcare System hospitals’ patient satisfaction ratings surpassed the national average and earned some of the highest marks in Florida and South Florida.

Memorial Hospital Miramar’s overall patient satisfaction rating was not exceeded by any other South Florida hospital, and Memorial Hospital West’s overall patient satisfaction rating was also very high – putting these two Memorial facilities among South Florida’s five highest-rated hospitals.

Memorial Regional Hospital and Memorial Hospital Pembroke also exceeded the national average.

The Consumer Reports study includes more than 3,400 hospitals from throughout the country, with ratings based on survey responses from more than 1 million patients. Information collected by the federal government’s Hospital Consumer Assessments of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey (HCAHPS) was combined with data from the Dartmouth Atlas of Health Care and the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
