Palatal myoclonus
Definition
Palatal myoclonus is a fast spasm (contraction) of the muscles in the roof of the mouth.
Causes
It is usually due to damage (lesions) on brain nerve pathways, including multiple sclerosis.
Symptoms
- Clicking in the ear
- Popping in the ear
