Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist Program

Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist Eligibility:
- Students must be admitted to a full time Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist or an Occupational Therapist program and have completed at least one semester of coursework.
- Acceptance to a Masters Program in Speech Language Pathology is required for applicants interested in the scholarship.
- Students must have a 3.2 GPA or higher
- Recipients would receive up to a maximum of $30,000 in scholarship funds and in return, would commit to work for the Memorial Healthcare System for 3 years or pay back the scholarship.
Placement may be at any of the Healthcare System facilities and work schedules are based on the hours that best support services at time of hire.
Applicant Instructions:
- Complete the application forms.
- Request that the college or university forward an original transcript to the address listed on the application.
- Provide three letters of recommendation, one which should be from a member of the faculty at your present college/university and preferably one from a current or past employer.
- Include any other supporting documents you feel would further enhance your position. (Example: academic, recognition or leadership awards.)
- Upon receipt, the scholarship coordinator will review your information, and if selected, you will be invited to participate in a personal interview.
