Memorial Healthcare Blood Donation Services
Why You Should Donate Blood
More than one in four Americans will require a blood transfusion at least once in their lifetimes. Yet, just 5 percent of those eligible to give a blood donation actually do so.
Your blood donations are vital to help ensure a more stable blood supply for Memorial Healthcare System patients. Each whole blood donation can help as many as three people.
OneBlood is the primary blood supplier for Memorial Healthcare System, operating donor centers and blood mobiles throughout our area. In South Broward, the blood donation center is located at:
3615 Hollywood Boulevard (across from the courthouse), 954-378-1188
A nonprofit, all-voluntary blood donation service, OneBlood is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), America's Blood Centers (ABC), the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) and the Florida Association of Blood Banks (FABB), and is licensed by the Food and Drug Administration and the state of Florida. In addition, OneBlood is a donor center for the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
To make a blood donation appointment online or to learn more about OneBlood and its blood donation locations, visit oneblood.org/ or call toll-free 954-378-1188.
Give the gift of life. Donate blood.
