Wrap Up Your Holiday Shopping with Fitness Gift Certificates from Memorial

December 2005 - Give the gift of fitness, nutrition, education and relaxation this holiday season. Gift certificates from Memorial Regional Hospital Fitness & Rehabilitation Center or Memorial Hospital West Fitness & Rehabilitation Center are gifts that can make a difference long after they're received.

More Than a Gym

Memorial offers more than just weights and aerobic classes. Staffed by experts trained in specific areas of expertise - from exercise physiology, physical therapy and athletic training to dietetics, nutrition, massage therapy and lifestyle coaching - Memorial offers specialized, professional fitness services.

"The level of service and expertise at both centers is extraordinary," says Rob Herzog, Director of Memorial Hospital West Fitness & Rehabilitation Center. "In addition to outstanding facilities, we offer a staff that excels at providing proper education and guidance. Specialized programs are designed to fit the needs and interests of a variety of individuals."

Many Choices

Gift certificates for fitness programs are an ideal way to get someone started or keep them on the path to better health. Our programs include (but are not limited to):

Lifestyle Coaching

This innovative program delivers invigorating, practical and cost-effective training sessions to help individuals achieve personal and professional objectives. Lifestyle coaching gift certificates can open the door to personal success.

Mommy & Me

Classes provide group activities for mothers and babies. Workouts are designed to include babies as new moms get back in shape. Wouldn't the new mom in your life appreciate this special gift?

Healthy Habits

Led by a registered dietitian in a group setting, this 8-week program provides an easy, step-by-step, individualized approach to healthy eating and fitness. A gift of Healthy Habits can make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

Director Fitness & Rehabilitation Center

Pilates

Led by a certified and experienced pilates instructor, 30- or 60-minute pilates sessions focus on core muscle groups for the abdominal and lower back regions. The result is improved flexibility, toning and strength in far fewer sessions than typical exercises.

While most classes are offered at both facilities, certain classes are available at only one. Simply check with either Memorial Fitness & Rehabilitation Center regarding the classes you are interested in.

Gifts don't have to be limited to classes, either. "In our gift shops, you'll find athletic apparel with fitness function and designer chic," says Tracy Herzog, Director of Memorial Regional Hospital Fitness & Rehabilitation Center. "A pedometer for the walking enthusiast or a massage gift certificate is sure to please. Get someone started on the road to fitness with a trial membership - and while you're there, get a membership for yourself, too!"
