It's Time to Engage

Welcome to Engage: ICD-10 at Memorial, the system-wide initiative to help facilitate the transition to ICD-10 at Memorial Healthcare System. The new coding system will require physicians to employ more specific clinical documentation, which will be captured by ICD-10's more detailed code sets. This enhanced specificity of information will more accurately reflect quality of care, thus improving reporting and simultaneously facilitating business processes.

On April 1, the President signed legislation that delayed the implementation of ICD-10 to no earlier than October 1, 2015. Memorial is committed to staying abreast of governmental updates and sharing them with you as they are communicated.

This website is a comprehensive resource for making this change. Within this site, you'll find valuable information for ICD-10 at Memorial: from transition strategies to training schedules, from external educational opportunities to internal resources.
